BEIJING – Caroline De Lima, a sister to Senator Leila De Lima who was arrested early Monday morning in China for drug trafficking has been sentenced to death.
A Beijing Court sentenced Caroline and her Chinese accomplice Wei Maoju to death by hanging.
According to the Chinese Border Control Agency, Caroline was traced and followed from the airport until she delivered the goods to her Chinese client. They were then arrested.
Caroline’s sister, Senator Leila De Lima has been in the public domain since Duterte ascended office for Duterte’s claims of her links to drug trade.
